We are looking for a Full time Counselor to join our practice, providing outpatient Mental Health and Addiction Counseling at our Wooster and Lodi locations. Schedule can be somewhat flexible depending on location. Employee must work well with minimum supervision. Experience in this setting is preferred but will train the right candidate.

A New Day Lodi is currently seeking a Full time Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Social Worker to join our team! We are seeking a full-time therapist in both the Lodi and Wooster Offices. One position is a day shift schedule, and the other is a mix between a dayshift and a midshift schedule.

About:

A New Day is CARF accredited and certified by OHMHAS (Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services) as an Intensive Outpatient Alcohol and Substance Abuse/Mental Health Treatment facility. Our facilities are located in Wooster, Lodi and Bucyrus, Ohio. The Facility provides group and individual counseling and conducts a medically assisted treatment program in the form of Vivitrol and Suboxone. We offer additional programs in the form of CBT, Anger Management, Relational Offenders Program, Parenting Programs (PPP), Case Management, Recovery Maintenance, and have mental health medication management. We pride ourselves on having close and supportive relationships with our clients. We have small teams of employees at each location who work closely together in a supportive environment.

Salary:

$50,000-$55,000 per year depending on your experience and licensure!

The ideal candidate will be able to work onsite in Wooster, Ohio
Have a Medical Assistant or LPN license that is in good standing
Great attitude
Comfort with facilitating and observing Urine Drug Screens (Males will only observe Males, Females will observe both Males and Females)
Flexible and willing to grow and adjust with necessary change
Potentially increase hours and possibly work at other locations in the future - this isn't necessary and is not a disqualifier for employment if you aren't interested in more hours in the future or working at other locations but is a potential option that can be offered in the future should you be interested.
Have a willingness to learn and follow specific protocols, complete documentation per company policies, and learn our company EHR system
Work well under supervision and autonomously, and with interdisciplinary team of therapists, addiction counselors, nurse practitioner, contractors, and other office staff
Have an internal drive for accuracy and a desire to help people who are in need
Experience working with people who suffer from substance use and addiction is a plus
