Welcome to our page! Burke Optometry doctors and staff strive to provide the best vision care in the area. We carry a wide array of spectacle frames for regular prescription eyeglasses and both non-Rx and Rx sunglasses. We fit contact lenses, including lenses for astigmatism and bifocal correction. We are active in cataract and laser vision co-management also.
Dr. Germaine Burke was born and raised in Stockton, graduating from Stagg High. She went to UC Davis for her bachelor's degree in Psychology, and attended professional school at UC Berkeley School of Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Burke has been President twice and is an active member of Soroptimist International of Lodi since 1995. She has also served as President and on the boards for the Sacramento Valley Optometric Society and the San Joaquin Optometric Society. She has maintained membership in the national, state and local professional organizations for optometrists since attending optometry school. Dr. Burke loves her job and appreciates the relationships she has developed over the last 27 years with her patients and friends in the Lodi community.
Dr. Jerome Burke is a native of Turlock and is mostly known in our office as Dr. B! His professional schooling was done at Southern California College of Optometry where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. B has also been active in the local San Joaquin Optometric Society serving as its President. He also is a member of the national, state and local organizations for professional Optometry. He had worked in large ophthalmology groups for years and now has more time to spend with each patient and really enjoys that.
Dr. Price joined us in September of 2019 having graduated in 2018 as a Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating, Dr. Price spent 1 year in a Residency program in Ocular Disease and is comfortable working with medical issues, including glaucoma and cataract care. Dr. Price grew up in Acampo and graduated from Lodi High so she is very happy to be serving patients in her home town!
