🎃 Halloween at Logan Manor 👻
Yesterday we celebrated with our very own Halloween party, complete with spooky cookies, cupcakes, and orange soda! We got lots of laughs out of the hilarious round of Halloween charades Shelby put on for us — she definitely kept everyone entertained!
Since school was out, our favorite kids stopped by Thursday to parade in their Halloween costumes and help us vote on our decorated pumpkin contest. Their excitement and creativity made the day extra special!
🎨 A special shout-out to our amazing staff who provided such fun and festive pumpkins for residents and students to vote on — we had everything from farm animals to movie characters! The overall favorite this year was “The Grinch”, beautifully painted by Kaylee Brown. 💚👏
Throughout October, our residents stayed busy with festive art projects — from ghost book garlands hanging on our fireplaces to patchwork paper pumpkins and colorful fall coloring pages. We enjoyed reading “Dancing Through Halloween” together before diving into some brain-teasing word games and spooky crossword puzzles.
Of course, no Halloween at Logan Manor would be complete without a little friendly competition! We tossed our way through Ghost Toss, shouted “Bingo!” at Halloween Bingo with the 1st graders, and showed off our artistic side painting pumpkins with the FFA students.
And one of our favorite traditions continued this year — making homemade popcorn balls for our trick-or-treaters! 🍿 The smiles and excitement from the kids remind us every year why we love this sweet (and sticky!) tradition.
🧡 A big thank-you to everyone — residents, staff, students, and community — for helping make Halloween at Logan Manor another memorable one!
