Clear Direction Counseling: Travis Christensen, LCMHC I believe in a holistic approach to wellness. When we define what gives us purpose, we find our pa I believe that we are only as sick as our secrets.

The two most important days in a person's life are the day they were born and the day they realize why. In order to discover this we must brush off the shame, doubt, hurt, pain, judgement, rejection, abuse and turmoil. I invite you to once again regain your wonderment and joy. Our Story

I believe in providing a space where individuals can be authentic, genuine, and transparent and is absent of judgment. Because everyone deserves happiness and fulfillment. I empower individuals to determine the tools they need to realize contentment and satisfaction in life. I believe in a warm, empathetic style focusing on positives/strengths thus allowing people to believe in themselves. I believe pain is when life's conditions don't match our blueprint of the world, but suffering comes when our life's conditions don't match our blueprint of the world, and we feel helpless/hopeless to make a change.

I propose to you this chance to take command of your life. It's really hard to create the life we want, if you don't really define it, and define what's stopping it. We suffer not from the events in our lives, but from our judgments about them.

We can't ask something of someone else that we don't believe we are worthy of receiving. I know making changes in self-defeating beliefs and behaviors are challenging. Life is happening for us, not to us, and whatever we resist will persist. Take command today and with faith change is finally possible.
