MISSION: Promote physical and mental health and prevent disease, injury, and disability for the resi

Our agency strives to meet the following 10 Essential Public Health Services for our community:
1. Monitor health status to identify and solve community health problems.
2. Diagnose and investigate health problems and health hazards in the community.
3. Inform, educate, and empower people about health issues.
4. Mobilize community partnerships and action to identify and solve health problems.
5. Develop policies and plans that support individual and community health efforts.
6. Enforce laws and regulations that protect health and ensure safety.
7. Link people to needed personal health services and assure the provision of health care when otherwise unavailable.
8. Assure competent public and personal health care workforce.
9. Evaluate effectiveness, accessibility, and quality of personal and population-based health services.
10. Research for new insights and innovative solutions to health problems. The HCHPH Facebook account is intended to enhance communication between the public and HCHPH. Users and visitors to this page are welcome to participate in social networking and discussion; however, the following forms of conduct are not allowed:
a. Content that may compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems;
b. Content that violates the legal ownership rights or interests of another party;

Repeated or flagrant violations of these conduct rules may cause the author to be blocked from the HCHPH page. HCHPH understands that social media is a 24/7 medium; however, HCHPH moderation capabilities are not. The HPHPH SMA will respond to comments and requests for information and will act upon inappropriate content as soon as it is possible during normal business hours. All content is subject to public disclosure including open records requests.

Several models of Evenflo All4One convertible car seats are being recalled for an issue with the car seat shifting recline positions in rear-facing mode.
