Getting surgery soon?! Here’s something most people aren’t told.

Your lymphatic system clears swelling, inflammation, and waste from tissues after surgery.

When the body is dealing with high sugar intake, refined carbs, and ultra-processed foods, it can increase systemic inflammation and metabolic stress — meaning your lymphatic system has more work to do.

Before surgery, focus on giving your body the best healing environment:

• Whole/Fresh foods
• Adequate protein
• Hydration (electrolytes + magnesium)
• Fewer processed foods and sugars

Your lymphatics will already be working overtime after surgery — supporting them beforehand can help your recovery process! Why not give yourself a boost?!

** Always follow your surgeons instructions **

POV: it wasn’t just “one too many margaritas”… its pressure from fluid congestion in the head and neck.

Alcohol can temporarily increase inflammation and fluid retention, which often shows up as:
• facial puffiness
• sinus-type pressure headaches
• heavy eyes
• neck tension

Lymphatic drainage doesn’t detox alcohol — your liver does that. This technique simply helps move excess fluid from the face and neck that can contribute to puffiness and pressure.

Your lymphatic system is the body’s drainage network, helping move excess fluid and metabolic waste out of tissues. Unlike blood circulation, lymph has no central pump — it depends on breathing, movement, and gentle manual stimulation to flow.

That’s why opening the lymph pathways in the neck first can help relieve pressure in the face and head. These areas contain major drainage channels that move fluid from the head back into circulation.

Your body already knows how to clear waste — sometimes it just needs better drainage pathways.

Save this for the next time you wake up puffy, pressurized, or head-heavy after a night out.

If this happens during your lymphatic session… it’s usually a good sign!

1. You suddenly have to p*e.
2. Your stomach starts gurgling.
3. You feel deeply relaxed… or even sleepy.

These are often positive signs your lymphatic system is starting to move!

When lymph flow improves, the body shifts into parasympathetic mode — the “rest and digest” state. That shift can stimulate digestion, move excess fluid toward the kidneys and bladder, and calm the nervous system.

So those little signals people notice during sessions can include:

• needing to use the restroom
• stomach sounds or digestive movement
• feeling heavy, relaxed, or sleepy
• warmth or subtle pressure changes in the body

It’s your nervous system dropping out of stress mode and your body beginning to circulate and clear fluid more efficiently.

Not everyone experiences the same responses, but these are very common physiological signs when the body starts moving lymph and shifting into repair mode.

Your body isn’t being “fixed.”
It’s being supported so it can do what it already knows how to do.

Save this for the next time you notice these signs during a session.

Puffy face when you wake up?
Headaches that feel like pressure?
Achy joints, swelling, and fatigue?

A lot of people assume this is just aging or stress.

But many times it’s actually a lymphatic drainage issue.

Your lymphatic system helps move excess fluid, inflammation, and cellular waste out of your tissues. Unlike your circulatory system, it doesn’t have a pump — it relies on movement, breathing, and muscle contraction to flow…along with diet, lifestyle and stress factors to name a few!

When lymph slows down, fluid and pressure can start to build in the tissues.

Supporting lymphatic flow can make a huge difference in how the body feels day to day.

✨I discovered the lymphatic system almost by accident—
while searching for help as my body was shutting down 🤍

Lymes
Autoimmune
Chronic fatigue
Mold exposure
Heavy metals overload
The list goes on…

I got lucky with the right doctor—
who helped me understand something critical ✨

Healing isn’t just about what you add in.
It’s about how well your body can eliminate!

Lymphatic health isn’t just drainage.
It’s learning how to support the system that
clears inflammation, regulates recovery,
and helps the body heal itself 🌿

✨ Most people prepare for surgery, but almost no one prepares their recovery system.

If you have surgery coming up, this is something many people only realize once recovery feels harder than expected.

Swelling, tightness, discomfort, and slow healing aren’t always just “normal post-op symptoms.” Often, they’re signs the body is overwhelmed.

The system that takes the biggest hit is the lymphatic system 🌿

Your lymphatic system plays a major role in recovery by helping the body:
• manage inflammation
• move excess fluid and waste
• support immune function
• create the right environment for tissue healing

Surgery places a significant demand on this system.

If lymph flow is already sluggish or congested before surgery, the body has a harder time keeping up afterward. This often shows up as lingering swelling, persistent stiffness, and a slower healing process.

Preparing the lymphatic system before surgery can help reduce the inflammatory load the body has to manage afterward ✨ For many people, this means a smoother recovery and a faster return to comfort and movement.

Recovery doesn’t start after surgery.
It starts with how prepared your body is beforehand 🤍

Save this if surgery is on your calendar 📌
Follow for clear, evidence-based recovery guidance most patients aren’t told about.

Not all pain = is created equal.

Sharp twinge lifting something?!
Often strain.

Deep ache after sitting all day?
Muscle fatigue or poor posture.

Burning or numbness?
Probably nerve impingement.

Constant stiffness?
Restricted tissue or deep inflammation.

DM if you’re curious what your pain is telling you?!
Would love to help you figure it out!

Did you know scars from years ago can still influence pain and movement?

As scar tissue matures, it can lose elasticity and limit how joints move.
The body adapts by compensating elsewhere, which can show up as pain or stiffness over time.

Scar tissue is living tissue.
Even years later, it can still adapt, remodel, and respond to gentle mechanical input—especially when circulation and glide are improved.

Never too late to work on your scars!

Share this to someone who’s been “fully healed” but still restricted.

Post-Op Septoplasty Drainage Works Wonders!
✨✨✨✨✨

My client came in a few days post-septoplasty feeling puffy and tender in her facial tissues. We spent time doing gentle, medical-grade lymphatic drainage — Post session, her face had more mobility, less pressure, and noticeably less swelling and less tender points. She could even breathe better!

When your lymphatic system is supported after surgery, your body can move fluid, reduce inflammation, and sp*ed up recovery time.

Even a short, targeted session can make such a difference!

If you’re healing from a nose or sinus surgery and feeling puffy, tight, or congested — lymphatic drainage is one of the safest, most effective tools to help your body do what it’s designed to do.

DM to book a post-op session or ask questions.
