Me realizing that “adios” when saying goodbye to someone is more “a’dios” or “a dios” literally meaning “To God”, sending you to God as they depart, or suggestive of “with God”, that you go with God.

C-PTSD is different from PTSD. When I get triggered, even low key, I drop into depression and disassociation. The work I’ve done over the last 4 years made this process happen within hours as opposed to consuming me for days. I am so proud of myself!!! 🥰🙏🏼🙏🏼 I am still struggling with the after-effects at the moment, (hence Facebook at midnight -yay coping mechanisms!!) but I am counting my wins. It’s been a *hitty year 😂 Would anyone else like to share your wins as of late? Would anyone like to share how this affects them? Let’s support each other ♥️
