Fisher Funeral Chapel - Logansport, IN Three Generations of Excellence in Funeral Service We will match any local funeral home's bonafide quote if we are not already the best price.

*A licensed funeral director is available 365/24/7.
*We offer traditional burials and cremation services as well as memorial services, green burials, home funerals and direct cremation or burial packages. *We also work with families choosing to donate their body to the Indiana Anatomical Board or those wanting to donate organs/skin/bones/eyes through the Indiana Organ Procurement Association so they may have a traditional viewing, if desired.
*Our "Fair Price Guarantee" assures families that we offer the best value for exceptional service and facilities. We believe that you should not have to pay your life's savings to pay your respects and we offer dignified options in every price range. We also work closely with Medicaid and Township Trustees to assist families in dire need.
*We believe in educating the public about the advantages of a pre-planned funeral. We offer Forethought Life Insurance to fund pre-arrangements. We also accept transfers of pre-arrangements that were made at other funeral homes.
*Recognizing that nearly 60% of our clients are not affiliated with a church, we have on-staff celebrants available to officiate at funerals, memorial services and graveside rites in accordance to your specified wishes, either religious or non-religious. We can also help family members wishing to officiate at the services by providing them with ideas and support. We work closely with all local clergy members and take great care in observance of each denomination's traditions and rituals when it comes to the sacred rites of burial.
*Our firm recognizes the sacrifice our veterans and active duty military members have made for our freedom. From VA benefits to military markers, we assist the family in every aspect during this difficult time. We work closely with the Cass County Veterans Council Honor Guard as well as the Indiana National Guard and Reserves Military Honors team to provide a fitting tribute to those who served.
*Our website http://www.fisherfuneralchapel.com features a free "Light a Candle" tool, permanent guestbooks, grief support access to chat with others in our affiliation with the international Grieving network, and the ability to link video tributes, videos of the services, or actual webcams of the service in realtime.
*We assist families needing to purchase cemetery space and can often provide options by using our list of individuals wanting to sell lots at a discounted price. For your convenience, we also sell monuments. Through our granite dealer, we pass on our wholesale savings to you.
*Our funeral chapel was built with your comfort in mind. A beautiful oak fireplace and the warm, soothing colors of the sunrise greet you at the front door. There are no stair steps and no steep ramps to encounter! You will find drive-up access to the front door under a covered portico with valet parking available, if needed. Restrooms are spacious enough for wheelchair access and for families with toddlers/infants. The ladies powder room features an area for nursing mothers. Our lounge and kitchenette provide a homelike setting where families can grab refreshments and relax with a tv and toys to keep the children busy.
*We are family owned and operated. Our professional staff members are continuously furthering their education to offer the very best in restorative art skills. We are committed to our community as evidenced in the many organizations we belong to and the many ways we contribute to this community. Our family has also experienced great loss, so we "have been there, done that" and know the journey of grief that you are facing. We promise to be with you and guide you through this difficult time, helping you create a beautiful tribute to your loved one.

Tomorrow, Thursday, October 30th at Cedar Creek!

You know, the older we get, there’s very little we need—but we need that “little” so very much.

At Cedar Creek Assisted Living, that “little” might be the joy of children in costume, giving out a handful of candy, or a moment of shared laughter. Trick-or-treat night brings back memories, sparks smiles, and reminds us how meaningful the little things truly are.

So, bring the kids, park in the B-Dubs lot and trick or treat at Cedar creek! Don’t have little ones? Drop off some candy for the residents to pass out!

We share the sad news of the passing of Reuben Moore, 47, of Whiteland, Indiana—a loss that has come as both a shock and a deep sorrow to his family.

Though Reuben grew up in Chicago Heights, Illinois, his roots ran through Logansport, where he spent cherished days with his grandparents, the late Randy and Mary Eilene Moore. Many of his fondest memories were made at their beloved Church of the Good Shepherd on the corner of 8th & East Broadway.

Well…we went through 120 “Halloween Hands” in less than 40 minutes! Jacob hands out the last of the hands! We’re breaking open the reserve candy with three hours to go! What a beautiful day in our neighborhood! Come join us!

The “hands” took much longer than that to make than they did to pass out, but many hands make light work! Thanks, Erica & Jacob for helping me!)

Morticia is still upset she didn’t know how to spell “Catafalque” - it’s a stand or platform, sometimes decorated, which a coffin or casket is placed on during a funeral service or viewing. But all in all, these very spirited Tri Kappa sisters did a great job! We were proud to sponsor the team to raise money for the Literacy Volunteers of Cass County at tonight’s Grown-Up Spelling Bee.
