For National Activity Professionals Week, we would like to thank all of the fabulous volunteers that we are blessed to see throughout the year. Our most frequent volunteers that we would like to spotlight are Pam Roller with Marvelous Monday, Joe Staples singing, and Sharon Dillman story telling.

Continuing our salute to our activity team during National Activity Professionals Week! We would like to thank all of our Activity Assistants for making activities fun for the residents! Our Activity Assistants are: Nicole Fessant, Rheta Murry, Lois Morgan, Theresa Royer, and Bethani Sadler. Not pictured is our newest Activity Assistant, Angela Vest.

This group of ladies does a fantastic job and we appreciate them so much! Thanks for bringing joy, creating smiles, and making memories for the residents!

This week is National Activity Professionals Week and we will be highlighting our awesome Activity Department. Christina Planting is our Activity Director and has been with Miller's Merry Manor for about a year, but is no stranger to the Miller's as having worked in one of our sister facilities. Christina does a great job planning new and exciting activities for the residents. Thanks for all that you do, Christina!

Music has a beautiful way of bringing everyone together. Our residents enjoyed a wonderful live performance from one of their favorite entertainers, Joe Staples. It was filled with heartfelt singing and plenty of smiles.

We would like to thank the local humane society for providing the best kind of medicine: furry cuddles. We enjoyed our visit full of comfort, joy, and wagging tails!

We would like to thank Mary Jo Horner, RN for her hard work and dedication to Miller's Merry Manor - Logansport since 1985. Mary Jo has decided to retire to spend more time with her family and her recent addition of a granddaughter.

She has worked in many capacities, but is most known for being the Director of Nursing for years. Mary Jo's kindness and calm demeanor will definitely be missed. We wish you the best of luck in retirement and hope you will stop by and see us on occasion! Enjoy retirement! 🎉

Mary Champ was the big winner of our Duck Trivia Race and received a pair of smiley face slippers. In order to move their duck forward on the track, the residents needed to answer a trivia question correctly. Thanks to all that played and for the creative activity.
