Helping Hands for Elijah This page is for updates on Eli's brain injury recovery. Let this little guy know he's loved! The prognosis at this point is undetermined.

On Nov 27th 6 year old Eli and his family were in a terrible accident. His mother and sister were both ok with minor cuts and bruises but Eli was life flighted to Egelston Children's Hospital of Atlanta with a broken leg sever traumatic brain injury. He is now in a medically induced coma and his family is taking shifts around the clock to be by his side. The doctors say it's just a game of wait and see now. So for the foreseeable future Eli and his family will be making Egelston their new home. We are not sure yet what the expenses for Eli's longterm care will be. But his mother cannot work and be by his side at the same time so she will need funds to cover the basic expenses of living like food, gas, and a hotel room close to the hosptial every once in a while so she can rest for the next few months at least.Any donations will go directly to the family to ensure that these things are met.

It’s been a tough road lately, and we could really use your support. My son Elijah has been facing challenges that need regular therapy and doctor visits, and with my health issues, it’s been hard to keep up with everything.

Elijah was sleeping in this morning and when I went to wake him he was having a focal seizure.It lasted about a minute after I got there and he sat up for a second. He never responded to his name. He laid back down and back to sleep. He woke up about 30 minutes later hurting, in a brain fog, and not remembering what day of the week it is and kinda mixed up. I got him to eat some cereal for me and take his medicine. He's resting and I'm monitoring him. I'm supposed to help clean today, but I'm not sure if I should. I messaged his neurologist to let her know of his seizure and see if we need to schedule an appointment. I have him scheduled for the 3rd to get sized for his afo and shoes. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! Trying to be the best mom/caregiver/provider I can be.🙏❤️✝️💞
