A 2.5 year journey of intentionally putting myself into uncomfortable positions is what this blue belt signifies. The group of people is One of a kind. I wanted a change in my life, and become comfortable being uncomfortable and this has been the least of my gains. Friends, confidence, mental strength, emotional control, and physically push myself beyond what I had ever imagined. Grit is the bottom denominator in this group of people, and I love that. Your age, gender, profession, or political view is irrelevant. Can you grind out the difficulty and self doubt? Thank you to all the Upper belts who “let me work”, choked me, arm bared me or purely smashed me… all Lessons and learning opportunities.
