Okay but WHY was it 101° and no one warned us?! 🥵🌡️💖

We went out thinking “cute little walk/run” and got hit with ✨instant oven vibes✨ 🔥😂

So we slowed it waaay down 🐢, took extra breaks 🌴, and basically turned it into a hydration tour 💧💦

Hot girl (and hot weather 😅) tips:
🌸 If the sun is disrespectful… go earlier or later
💗 Water is your personality now 💧
🌷 Cute outfits but make it breathable
🧴 Sunscreen or regret it later
🌺 Slow down friend, this is not the Olympics
🧊 Shade = luxury

Huge congratulations to all our Loma Linda Lopers and friends on an incredible season! From 5Ks to half marathons—and so many amazing miles in between—we shared a lot of unforgettable moments together, all leading up to an inspiring showing at the ASICS Los Angeles Marathon.

We couldn’t have done it without the energy and encouragement from our incredible volunteers at the Lopers support and cheer tent—you truly made a difference. You all are amazing!

As we head into the offseason, we hope to see you continue to run and walk with us. We’ll still be meeting most Sundays—because there’s no better way to start the day than getting outside and moving together. Let’s keep the momentum going!

Good news… by the time we kick things off, temps will be much cooler 😌 But don’t forget to hydrate throughout the day and come prepared with water or electrolytes, plus light, cool clothing!

Medal Monday LA Marathon 2026 edition!!
Yesterday was our celebration day and wow! 🤩🥹
So many amazing & inspiring stories from our legacy runner to some of the first timers and everyone in between. We loved celebrating each one of our Loper LAM finishers.🩷 All the training and the miles in our Loma Linda hills brought us to this moment… Yes, it was hard, yes it was hot… but WE LOVE LA!!! 💖💖💖
