LJ's Healing Hearts is a non-profit organization that provides financial support for families impacted by congenital heart defects while raising awareness.

LJ's Healing Hearts is a non-profit organization that raises awareness and financial support for families impacted by congenital heart defect. The creation of the foundation was inspired by Lucy Shannon, who was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome at 23 weeks gestation. Since birth she has had six open heart surgeries and multiple hospital stays. To date she is happy and healthy 1st grader currently post successful heart transplant. Lucy's family has been blessed with a support group that has endured all the ups and downs along side them. We want to extend that support to the CHD world and bring hope and help to other families stuggling on this journey.

We loved celebrating the grand opening of the Lombard Dunkin Donuts! Thank you for the generous donation, which will help CHD families financially!

We’re proud to share in February, we provided $13,000 in financial assistance to eight families in our community. These funds helped cover essential needs including rent and mortgage, car payments, and utility bills, offering stability during a challenging time.

This is the 💓heart 💓 of our mission in action — standing with families when they need it most and ensuring they have the support to move forward with confidence.
