Meet Lily, one of our amazing concierges at Beacon Hill! 💛

Lily grew up in the Chicago area before moving to the suburbs as a teen, and she first joined Beacon Hill in 2020 in the dining room. In 2024, she returned in her current role, where she loves building genuine connections with residents and making a positive difference in their day.

When she’s not helping residents, Lily is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources at College of DuPage. She’s a big family person, has an identical twin sister Alondra, and grew up in a household full of laughs, pranks, and Chicago sports excitement! 🏀⚾

We’re so lucky to have Lily on our team—she’s always bringing warmth, care, and a smile to everyone she meets! ✨

In recognition of National Wear Red Day, our team members are proudly wearing red to shine a light on women’s heart health. Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death for women and today is a reminder of the importance of awareness, prevention, and supporting one another in living heart-healthy lives. ❤️

Last week we celebrated National Puzzle Day with a fun puzzle competition! 🧩 Each group tackled the same puzzle, and the competition got intense (and a little heated!) 😅. In the end, a winner was crowned and of course, earned a well-deserved pizza party! 🍕🎉

We had a blast playing chair volleyball with Hammerschmidt Elementary School last week! Chair volleyball, big cheers, and even bigger smiles made for the perfect afternoon. Nothing beats good energy, great company, and a little friendly competition! 🏐😄

Judy and Lowell’s story is a beautiful reminder that new chapters can bring the most unexpected joy. After both finding their way to Beacon Hill in 2017, what began as a friendship quickly grew into something truly special — and eventually, a lifelong commitment. 💍

Filled with laughter, shared passions, and unwavering support, their journey together includes swapping travel stories, reading side by side, Wii bowling, and building meaningful friendships within the community. And along the way, Judy and Lowell said, “I do,” proving that love can continue to grow and deepen at every stage of life.

Their advice? Get involved, say yes to new experiences, and let the community surprise you.

Ellen comes to Beacon Hill with a background in commercial real estate and brings a passion for music, theatre, travel, reading, and so much more. She’s also looking forward to adding more physical activity into her daily routine. Ellen shares her life with her beloved dog, Tucker. 🐾

Last Friday, we decided not to let winter win.

It was -12° outside, but inside we had piña coladas, music, and a full dance floor.
Roger and Jim went all in on the tropical drinks, while Bill and Diane found a good seat and took in Barrett Hasselwood’s live music.

Winter is still here, but days like this make it feel a little shorter.
