In a world where success is often defined by titles, productivity, and visible outcomes, the Qur’an offers a deeper measure through the words of Prophet Shuʿayb (peace be upon him):
“My success comes only through Allah. In Him I trust and to Him I turn.” (Hud 11:88)
Despite his wisdom and eloquence, Prophet Shuʿayb recognized that true tawfiq is not self-made, but granted by Allah.
This perspective calls us to strive with responsibility and purpose, placing our trust in Allah and aligning our path with His guidance.

Treating others has profound spiritual and psychological benefits for the practitioner 🌿
This benefit is rooted in the very nature of the work; giving relief to those who are experiencing hardship and difficulties, as well as keeping confidential the matters of those whom you serve, is an essential element of the role of a practitioner. This dedication to serving others is also reflected in the Prophetic teaching:
The Prophet (PBUH) reminded us that all of creation are the dependents of Allah, and the most beloved are those who are most beneficial to them.
When you dedicate yourself to helping others heal, remember that Allah is the ultimate Helper. As you seek to be beneficial to others, Allah safeguards your own affairs and protects your path. ✨

Grateful to have been part of MAS ICNA 2025, where Khalil Center engaged in meaningful conversations around trauma, grief, tawakkul, and supporting Muslim children during challenging times.
These sessions were a reminder of the power of faith-rooted, culturally responsive mental health care and the strength of our communities when we come together to heal, reflect, and grow.
Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and shared this space with us.

“Whoever recites it three times in the morning will not be afflicted by any calamity before evening, and whoever recites it three times in the evening will not be overtaken by any calamity before morning.” Abu Dawud 4/323, At-Tirmidhi 5/465, Ibn Majah 2/332

On this blessed Friday, let this duʿāʾ be part of your morning and evening remembrance a simple way to renew trust, remember that true protection comes from Allah, and keep the heart grounded and the mind at ease. 🌱
