This Tuesday was one for the memory books ❤️

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful outing to the Casselman Inn in Grantsville, MD, where we were treated to the charm of a historic dining room and the kind of warm, welcoming service that makes you feel right at home.

From the moment we sat down, the table was filled with homemade goodness—warm, fresh bread served with sweet apple butter, followed by delicious country-style favorites that had everyone smiling with each bite.

But the best part of the day wasn’t just the food—it was the laughter, the stories shared, and the joy of spending time together outside our walls. These are the moments that matter most.

We are so grateful for opportunities like this to create meaningful experiences and lasting memories with our residents 💛

During National Patient Safety Week, our team came together for a special three-day staff education seminar focused on strengthening safety for both our residents and the dedicated people who care for them every day.

Throughout the training, staff participated in important sessions covering workplace violence awareness, sensitivity and de-escalation techniques, and response procedures in the event of a Code Gray/armed intruder situation. These sessions provided valuable tools to help our team stay prepared, confident, and equipped to respond appropriately in challenging situations.

At our nursing home, maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive environment is one of our highest priorities. We firmly believe that education, preparedness, and prevention are key components of protecting the well-being of our residents, their families, and our staff.

We are incredibly proud of our team for their dedication to learning and their commitment to providing compassionate care while keeping safety at the forefront of everything we do. Thank you to every staff member who took the time to participate and continue growing in their role.

Together, we remain committed to creating a place where safety, respect, and quality care always come first. 💙
