We invite our community to join us in lowering your flags to half-staff in honor and remembrance of the incredible life and service of Lieutenant J. Bryan White.

Governor DeWine Orders Flags Lowered in Honor of Lieutenant James “Bryan” White

(COLUMBUS, Ohio)— In honor of the life and service of Lieutenant James “Bryan” White of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has ordered that the flags of the United States and the state of Ohio be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout Madison and Clark counties and at all Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation facilities on December 9, 2025.

Lieutenant White began his law enforcement career with the Clark County Sheriff's Office. He later joined the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI). Following his time with BCI, White was an officer with the Madison County Sheriff's Office Investigations Division until his death.

All other public buildings and grounds throughout the state may lower at their discretion for the same time period.

We were so honored to purchase this beautiful 6-foot Nutcracker during the live auction at the Madison Health Heartfelt Holidays Gala, and we truly believe it’s the perfect addition to our historic building this holiday season. ❤️🎄

This stunning indoor/outdoor Nutcracker was hand-painted by the incredibly talented Creative Arts Team, representing the Kurt Lattimer Aspiring Artist Award Art Competition. With 40 collective hours of painting, every detail reflects the creativity, dedication, and heart of these young artists.

Not only is this piece a beautiful focal point for our Christmas décor, but it also supports something far greater — a portion of the proceeds directly benefits aspiring artists in our community through the Kurt Lattimer Award.

We are proud to give this one-of-a-kind holiday masterpiece a home and to continue supporting local talent and meaningful causes. 🤍✨
