We are so proud of our Gyn Oncology team at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge and HCA HealthOne Gynecologic Oncology for not only being the first in the nation to achieve Surgical Review Corporation's (SRC) Center of Excellence Accreditation in Gynecologic Surgical Oncology, but our OR team is also the recipient of the Healthgrades 2026 Surgical Care Excellence Award and was named among the top 5% in the nation for surgical care. On this Veterans Day, HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge was honored to have Sheriff Darren Weekly with Douglas County Sheriff's Office join us as Corporal Dawn Elzi delivered a powerful, moving rendition of the national anthem to our proud and grateful team. We are blessed to have more than 150 exceptional veterans working here and deeply appreciate their service to our country. HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is also pleased to share that HCA Healthcare is giving $150,000 to veteran support organizations in honor of Veterans Day. Since 2012, HCA Healthcare has hired more than 65,000 veterans, active-duty and reserve personnel and military spouses. We are also honored to share that VIQTORY has recognized HCA Healthcare as a Military Friendly® Employer for the 15th consecutive year, earning the Gold designation for the third year in a row.

Across our larger system of care, HCA Healthcare Sarah Cannon Cancer Network treats more than 12,000 lung cancer cases each year, bringing deep experience and compassionate care to every patient. Happy Halloween from our HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge family to yours! The Addams Family was on hand to deliver treats to our colleagues, and we had a special visit from Superman (aka Commissioner Laydon), Captain America and Wolverine (from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office). They loved being part of our baby's first Halloween! And kudos to our Radiation Oncology team for their very creative Snow White costumes! Stay safe while enjoying the festivities!

It has been a very busy day at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge. In addition to Crush the Crisis, we are hosting 35 Douglas County School District students interested in healthcare careers during our Mini Med University. We are proud to partner with The Foundation for Douglas County Schools to bring a hand-ons experience to these eager learners, from the ER and Cath Lab to the Laboratory and the Operating Suites. Our larger network, HCA Healthcare, is comprised of approximately 316,000 colleagues united by a singular mission: Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life. We hope some of these young leaders will become members of our team and carry on our mission!

HCA Healthcare's commitment to community goes beyond clinical care. Since 1998, the HCA Healthcare Foundation has provided more than $300 million to more than 14,000 community organizations through grants and gift matching. That's why the team at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is honored to do our part. Today we had the pleasure of partnering with Nourish Meals on Wheels, packaging more than 600 meals, delivering food and creating tokens of hope for the older adults in our community who may be alone or isolated. This is our "Feel Good Friday" moment.
