🚨✈️🏒 Colorado boys take on Niagara Falls! 🏒✈️🚨
Nothing like a tournament weekend that’s equal parts hockey, horsepower, and Tim Hortons. 🤣🍩
From battling it out on the ice to testing our “pro driver” skills at the racetrack, these guys packed in nonstop action. And yes… multiple Timbits were harmed in the making of this trip. 😅
The best part? Waking up to an unreal view of the Falls right outside our window 🌊—not a bad way to recharge before game time.
Great hockey, great memories, great crew. Until the next adventure! 🇨🇦💙🏔️

✨ Why I Didn’t Join the Party and I Don’t Do PDGF Injections in the Eyelids ✨
Lately, there’s been a lot of buzz about “PDGF” injections for the eyelids — but here’s the truth 👇
PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor) is being explored for skin regeneration, but it’s not FDA-approved or well-studied for use around the eyes. The eyelid area is delicate, and injecting unproven substances there can lead to complications described in the video🎞️.
As a surgeon, my first priority is always safety and evidence-based care. Until we have solid research and clear guidelines, PDGF injections in the eyelids just aren’t worth the risk.
Healthy skepticism is part of good medicine 💉👁️✨
Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is predictable and effective, and has stood the test of time.
Always ask what’s proven, not just what’s trending. Also, ask your injector for their qualifications and how long they have been doing the treatment they are recommending.

You might have seen posts claiming PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor) can rejuvenate or heal eyelid skin — but here’s the truth: there’s no FDA approval for injecting PDGF into the eyelids (or skin) at this time.
While PDGF is a natural part of your body’s healing process, injecting it isn’t without risks - some of these are discussed in the video above. Because the eyelids are such delicate structures, even small issues can cause big problems.
Before trying any regenerative or “growth factor” treatment, make sure it’s proven, FDA-cleared, and performed by a qualified injector.
Your eyes deserve the safest care possible. 💙

Amazing aesthetician Marjorie joined us to watch surgery and get a behind-the-scenes look at how the procedures she helps patients prepare actually happen. She got an up close look at upper and lower blepharoplasty surgery, an endoscopic brow lift, ptosis repair, fat transfer, and laser skin resurfacing.
It’s always great when an aesthetic provider and our surgical team connect — it makes the entire patient experience that much smoother (and more beautiful 😉).

🏒❄️ Hockey, Mountains, and Memories! ❄️🏒
What a weekend! Our team headed to Aspen for an unforgettable hockey tournament — full of great games, team bonding, and plenty of laughs off the ice. Between the mountain views, family dinners, and cheering each other on, it was the perfect mix of competition and fun.
Huge thanks to all the players, families, and coaches who made it such a great experience. These are the moments that make hockey so much more than a game. ❤️🥅

What a ride as a coach! We came out swinging last weekend — 4 straight wins, pure dominance, pure heart. 💪🔥

In the championship, we battled through every period, every shift, every puck drop. And even though the final ended in an overtime heartbreak, the toughness, resilience, and courage this team showed was nothing short of inspiring. 💔⏱️

They left everything on the ice — no regrets, no quit. This run was about more than just wins — it was about pride, unity, and playing for each other.
