One overlooked aspect of opening up overhead mobility is setting up the ribs and shoulder blades to move better. These breathwork drills help encourage a stretch and decrease tension around the shoulder.

Tight hip flexors aren’t always a stretching problem.

A lot of the time, it’s a control and positioning problem.

Trying to push your bench press or overhead press up?
Don’t ignore the rotator cuff.

Most people only train it with light rehab-style exercises. But if you want it to support heavy pressing, it needs exposure to higher force demands too.

This is one of our favorite ways to safely train the cuff closer to its strength max.
