Hot yoga for 1 year and hooked!

💛 Why I Practice:
Grief brought me to my mat in 2010 after losing my brother to su***de . What began as a lifeline is now a non-negotiable. Yoga has carried me through trauma, three pregnancies, a corporate career, and motherhood to Three beautiful children.

At 40, I need both movement and mindfulness — and a reminder to slow down. I return to my mat and this quote:
✨ “What lies before us and what lies behind us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”

💛 Why Denise Practices Yoga:
Yoga has been woven into every chapter of Denise’s life for over two decades. Her journey began with prenatal yoga—offering gentle support, improved circulation, and relief for her body. As she stepped into motherhood and a busy working life, her practice evolved into a powerful tool for managing stress, building strength, and restoring balance.

Today, Denise is grateful to be part of the vibrant Just Bee Yoga hive 🐝—a welcoming sanctuary where students support one another and grow together. What she loves most is the variety of classes that allow her to honor what her body and mind need each day—whether it’s an energizing Vinyasa flow, a grounding Hatha practice, or a deeply nourishing Yin or Restorative class.

This freedom to listen inward, move with intention, and care for herself—moment by moment, breath by breath—is what keeps Denise coming back to her mat.

🌟 Meet Sue — Our Student of the Month! 🌟

For the past 15 years, yoga has been Sue’s sanctuary — a space to explore inner peace, practice self-care, and stay fit while connecting with a supportive community. 💛

It’s a practice she truly looks forward to and deeply misses whenever she’s away.

One of the greatest gifts yoga has offered her is breathwork — a powerful tool to help calm the mind, regulate energy, reduce stress, and find clarity throughout her day.

🌟 Meet Merle: Our Student of the Month!

Merle is a radiant part of our Just Bee Yoga family! She began her yoga journey over 50 years ago and has been practicing ever since.

She loves the people, the instructors, and the warmth that fills the studio, saying it’s “so full of love flowing through the air.”

Her favorite poses are Pigeon, Downward Dog, and Child’s Pose.

Yoga has helped Merle de-stress and find deep relaxation, and her advice for newcomers is simple: Don’t give up if you feel you don’t fit in or if you are intimidated by others who understand and can perform effortlessly the different poses. Keep moving and enjoy the journey.

To Merle, yoga feels Grounded, Connected, and Loved, and we couldn’t describe her presence here any better.

We’re so grateful to have Merle in our hive! 💛

🌟Meet Kim: Our Student of the Month!

Kim began her yoga journey at age 50 after recovering from frozen shoulders, turning to yoga on the advice of her physical therapists. Nearly 20 years later, she’s still practicing 4+ times a week!

When Just Bee Yoga opened, Kim followed her teacher here, drawn by the welcoming community, beautiful space, and variety of classes. She loves the “beehive” sense of connection and treasures the friendships she’s made along the way.

For Kim, yoga means strength — in body, mind, spirit, and friendship. Her favorite poses, Half Moon and Plank, challenge her balance and focus. Off the mat, yoga has brought her more presence and a deepened gratitude for life. We’re so grateful to have Kim in our hive! 💛
