Appalachian Mountain Club Ethos Farm to Health
I wanted to pass this along - The Appalachian Mountain Club is turning 150 years old! This weekend there will be events scheduled at the AMC Mohican Outdoor Center. Registration is encouraged!

Join us in celebrating the Appalachian Mountain Club's 150th anniversary with a relay stop at the Mohican Outdoor Center. We will celebrate on Saturday with hiking, water sports, AMC story sharing, a picnic lunch, and much more that will be announced as we get closer to the event!

Registration is $25 a person and includes all programming and a Saturday lunch. This post is just for the Saturday events. If you would like to stay for the entire weekend, please click here. If you have any questions, please email ksorensen@outdoors.org.

8:00 -9:30 am – Breakfast at the Visitor Center
9:00-9:30 am – Hike groups (3 options) leave from parking lot between Blueberry & Black Oak
Additional optional hike leaving from Kittatinny Parking- please note that this is a full day hike, offsite
10:30 -11:30 am – Yoga class in boathouse
10:30-11:30 am – Guided walking tour of Mohican
All morning activities – on your own schedule:
Kayaking/canoeing on Catfish Pond
Fishing
Nature walk/nature scavenger hunt/iNaturalist
Self-guided hikes
12:30-2:30 pm - Lunch/AMC 150 Celebration at the Rec Hall
Guest speakers
Volunteer awards
AMC memory sharing
Music 12-3, Mari Byrd and Peter Lister
2:30 pm – Hike groups (3 options) leave from outside the Rec Hall
Other afternoon activities- on your own schedule (see list above)
5:00 pm - Happy Hour
