LIGHTS OUT please!

A reminder that we need your help in keeping our beaches dark for the safety of the sea turtles coming to our beaches to nest and the turtle hatchlings that are trying to make their way to the safety of the gulf water. When lights are left on near the beach the turtles become disoriented and make their way toward the light rather than the water. This puts them at risk from predators, falling into pools, ending up on roadways, etc.

Let's all do our part by keeping lights off throughout the remainder of turtle season, which continues through October.
