JGS Lifecare was proud to participate in the Senior Care Alliance event through the East of the River Chamber at the Pleasant View Senior Center in East Longmeadow.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with community members, share helpful information, and provide guidance on next steps when planning for senior care needs. We are always honored to serve as a trusted resource for individuals and families navigating important decisions.

A few days later Pleasant View Senior Center held a festive St. Patrick’s Day performance by a lively Irish duo, proudly sponsored by JGS Lifecare, bringing music, smiles, and a bit of Irish cheer to everyone in attendance.

We were thrilled to welcome Nico Montoya, a senior at Longmeadow High School and winner of the Design-an-Ad contest, to Ruth’s House Assisted Living!

Earlier in the process, Andrea Bates, Director of Marketing, visited Nico’s class to share more about Ruth’s House and provide inspiration for the project. It was wonderful to see that vision come to life through Nico’s creative work.

Nico joined us with his parents, two sisters, and his art teacher, Mariel Gross. Residents enjoyed the opportunity to meet him, ask questions, and hear about the inspiration behind his design.

It was a special and engaging experience for everyone — and a great example of community connection and creativity in action!

Saturday Night Swing at Ruth’s House Assisted Living!

What a night at Ruth’s House Assisted Living! Our very own Johnny Rockets took to the DJ booth on Saturday evening, spinning classics for his fellow residents and bringing the house down with timeless hits — including favorites from Frank Sinatra.

The room was filled with toe-tapping, singing along, and plenty of smiles as residents enjoyed an evening of music, memories, and community. There’s nothing like a little Sinatra to make it feel like the ultimate Saturday night!

Bravo to Johnny Rockets for sharing his talent and creating such a fun and memorable evening for everyone.

Lights, Laughter & Lots of Purim Fun!

Our team brought the joy of Purim to life with a hilarious skit based on the Biblical Book of Esther — and let’s just say… there were plenty of laughs! Purim is meant to be raucous, joyous, and a little silly — and our staff fully embraced the spirit of the holiday.
