Mary-Anne Schelb had the pleasure of meeting with Deb Sullivan, the winner of the JGS Lifecare raffle basket from the Bay Path Leadership Conference, held at the MassMutual Center on Thursday, April 2.

Deb was one of many attendees who stopped by the JGS Lifecare table, where meaningful conversations took place about the impact we can all have in our families’ lives—especially when it comes to advocating for care. It was a wonderful opportunity to share how JGS Lifecare supports families every step of the way, making it easier to navigate care with a full continuum of services.

Making an impact at the Bay Path Women’s Leadership Conference!

With this year’s theme, Impact, Mary-Anne Schelb, Regional Director Business Development, had the opportunity to connect with attendees and share how JGS Lifecare makes an impact in the senior community through the many programs, services, and resources we offer. It was a wonderful day of meaningful conversations, new connections, and a fun giveaway to help attendees remember us as a trusted resource.

It was especially great to spend time with community partners who also make a big impact. Staff members took a meaningful pause from the busyness of the day to gather for Tea for the Soul with Chaplains Sarah Malzone and Cantor Elise Barber. In the spirit of Passover and its themes of freedom and renewal, the afternoon offered a quiet moment to reflect, connect with colleagues, and recharge.

Over warm cups of tea and thoughtful conversation, staff enjoyed a peaceful break focused on wellness, community, and spiritual connection. Thank you to our Spiritual Life Team for creating such a calming and uplifting experience for everyone who attended.

JGS Lifecare was proud to participate in the Senior Care Alliance event through the East of the River Chamber at the Pleasant View Senior Center in East Longmeadow.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with community members, share helpful information, and provide guidance on next steps when planning for senior care needs. We are always honored to serve as a trusted resource for individuals and families navigating important decisions.

We were thrilled to welcome Nico Montoya, a senior at Longmeadow High School and winner of the Design-an-Ad contest, to Ruth’s House Assisted Living!

Earlier in the process, Andrea Bates, Director of Marketing, visited Nico’s class to share more about Ruth’s House and provide inspiration for the project. It was wonderful to see that vision come to life through Nico’s creative work.

Nico joined us with his parents, two sisters, and his art teacher, Mariel Gross. Residents enjoyed the opportunity to meet him, ask questions, and hear about the inspiration behind his design.

It was a special and engaging experience for everyone — and a great example of community connection and creativity in action!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Ruth’s House Assisted Living for our recent informational workshop, Planning for the Unexpected.
