Just an update: I’m scheduled for a hip replacement this June! I’ve needed to slow down for the time being. I am looking forward to being fully recovered by the end of the summer. I miss weddings! I miss elopements! I miss it all. I hope you are well and I wish you the best in 2024! I will update again in August. I’m happy to discuss providing short photo sessions prior to my surgery otherwise I am taking a break ❤️

Capturing your Photo Journey

Welcome to Lorene Nardell Photography. My journey began as a child learning photography with my mother. Surrounded by National Geographic magazines at home, I was mesmerized by the images and stories and vowed to one day work as a National Geographic photographer. Though I pursued other journeys as an adult, I never forgot my dream and always deeply felt my passion for photography. Now I am returning to these roots with my own daughter, having passed on my mother’s camera for her to use. My mother asked for a camera rather than an engagement ring over 5o years ago. Perhaps that was the start of a family journey that will continue on and on.

I look forward to working with each of you on your personal journeys. Every opportunity I have to work with a client is more than a final product - its about true spontaneous smiles, the heart of a couple, looking deeply into the eyes, the beauty of age, the playfulness of children and so much more.
