AGLOW Counseling AGLOW is a global hub for therapists and the world. Led by trauma expert Stacy Ruse, LPC, RYT, providing Self-led courses, trainings, and consultations.

Specializing in EMDR, IFS, Yoga, & Transpersonal therapies to inspire. Welcome to Aglow Counseling, where wisdom meets healing, and transformation takes center stage. Formerly at the helm of Stacy Ruse Counseling from 2013 to 2022, also known as Stacy Ruse Counseling Group, I embarked on a new journey that culminated in the merger with Mindfully in 2022. Now, with Aglow Counseling, my focus is on

providing specialized therapist training and consultation, emphasizing integrative EMDR and IFS therapies infused with a Transpersonal twist. At Aglow Counseling, we believe in the innate wisdom within each individual. By tapping into your highest Self, you can access an expansive, loving, and healing energy that guides you through the challenges of being human. Life can be tough, and I am inspired to guide and support healers in becoming their best selves in life, work, and play. In my consultation services, I offer a sacred space for therapists and healers to be truly seen and heard without judgment or preconceptions. It's a space where you can communicate freely, openly, authentically, and be radically your Soul-Full Self. We recognize the vulnerability we all share to trauma and the overwhelming, fast-paced, and often invalidating nature of the world. Many of us seek to slow down, deepen our experiences, and find more meaning in our lives. So, at Aglow Counseling, we invite you and your clients to SHINE BRIGHT as you were meant to! With warmth and dedication,

Stacy Ruse, LPC, EMDR & IFS Consultant

“Internal Family Systems” therapy offers a profound map for understanding the inner world, one that honors the multiplicity of our experience and gently guides parts out of their protective roles and into healing.

When therapists learn to hold space for all of a client's parts, something remarkable happens. The therapeutic relationship deepens. Breakthroughs become possible. And the work becomes not just effective, but truly transformative.

The “IFS Therapy Core Skills Certificate Training” through PESI is a rich, structured pathway to developing these skills, with the depth and rigor the work deserves.

As therapists and healers, we spend hours holding space for others, often seated, often still. Over time, the body absorbs the weight of that work in ways we don't always notice until something begins to ache.

This 45-minute therapeutic yoga class is designed specifically for spinal health and flexibility — a gentle, restorative offering for anyone who wants to move with more ease, breathe more freely, and give their body some of the same loving attention they offer others.

You don't have to be a yoga practitioner to benefit. Just show up, move at your own pace, and let your body lead. 🌿https://tinyurl.com/23hff3dx

What if the parts of you that feel most complicated are actually holding your greatest gifts?

Parts Work therapy teaches us that every part of us, even the ones that feel shameful, exhausting, or out of control, has a purpose. A story. A wisdom it's been trying to offer.

And when we meet those parts with curiosity instead of judgment? Something shifts. Integration becomes possible.

Over on my blog, I explore where IFS inspired therapy meets therapeutic tarot; two deeply symbolic frameworks that can illuminate our inner landscape in profound ways. Whether you're a therapist curious about integrating these tools or someone on your own healing journey, this is an invitation to know yourself more fully.

Because every part of you belongs. 🌙

There's something quietly powerful about sitting in a circle with fellow therapists who understand the particular weight and beauty of this work. Who get the complexity of sitting with deep pain. Who are also on their own integration journey.

The Integrative Consult Circle is that kind of space: a sacred container for therapists who want to deepen their clinical skills, explore integrative and spiritually-informed approaches, and be witnessed in their growth as practitioners.

The next circle begins in September 2026 and runs through March. If your heart is drawn to a more soulful, connected approach to your clinical development, I'd love to have you.

"The body keeps the score."

Bessel van der Kolk's words have resonated so deeply with so many of us in the healing field…and for good reason.

When trauma lives in the nervous system, in the gut, in the muscles and the breath, healing can't happen only from the neck up. The body needs to be part of the conversation. This is why body-centered approaches aren't a complement to healing; they're often the very heart of it. Learning to listen to and work with the body's wisdom opens doors that words alone sometimes can't.

Remember: your body isn't holding you back. It's holding your healing.

Trauma-informed care isn't just a skill set. It's a way of being with another person.

When we understand the neurological, physiological, and psychological layers of trauma, we become more than competent clinicians. We become genuinely healing presences for the people who trust us with their most tender experiences.

The Complete Trauma Professional Certification Program is designed to take you deeper into this understanding, giving you a comprehensive, integrative framework for working with trauma across a wide range of presentations.

Whether you're expanding your skills or formalizing expertise you've already built through years of practice, this certification is an investment in the depth of healing you can offer.

Your clients are waiting for the version of you that this training can help you become. 🌿 https://tinyurl.com/wj6hvdjx

Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is pause and come home to yourself.

In the middle of full schedules, tender client sessions, and the everyday pulls of life, it's easy to find yourself running on empty without even noticing. Your own nervous system needs tending too.

I created this guided meditation to offer you exactly that—a gentle space to ground, regulate, and reconnect with your innate sense of wholeness. Even just a few minutes of intentional presence can shift everything.

You deserve this kind of care as much as anyone you support.

Settle in and give yourself the gift of a few quiet minutes. 🎧 Link in bio.

There's a reason EMDR is one of the most talked-about trauma therapies in the field right now.

When we experience something overwhelming, the brain sometimes gets "stuck" and the memory remains raw, charged, unprocessed. EMDR works with the brain's natural healing capacity to gently integrate what couldn't be processed before.

As therapists, learning to guide clients through this process is both a clinical skill and, honestly, a profound privilege.

Whether you're brand new to EMDR or looking to deepen your foundation, the EMDR Immersion Course through PESI offers a rich, comprehensive introduction to this powerful modality, so you can bring more effective trauma healing into your practice.

What if your clinical work could feel as nourishing as it is effective?

So many of the healers I know came to this work because they've walked their own difficult paths. They understand, from the inside out, what it means to carry pain and what it means to transform it.

But somewhere along the way, the weight of holding space for others can leave us longing for a space of our own.

That's exactly what Soul-full Consultations are designed to be; a sacred container where you can integrate your clinical skills with your intuitive wisdom, tend to your own healing, and be witnessed in your journey as a practitioner.

Because you deserve support that honors all of who you are…the therapist and the human.

✨ Your body has been speaking to you all along.

Long before we find the words for what we've been through, the body knows. That tightness in your chest. The way your shoulders inch toward your ears. The heaviness that settles somewhere between your ribs.

These aren't symptoms to suppress. They're invitations to listen.

Somatic, or body-centered, approaches to healing honor this deep intelligence. When we learn to gently tune in to what's happening in our physical experience, we access a wisdom that talk therapy alone can't always reach.

Remember: true healing begins when we stop fighting our body's wisdom and start befriending it.

Whether you're new to the idea of body-centered healing or you've been on this path for a while, I'd love to share more with you. Explore my latest blog post. Link: https://tinyurl.com/5t5efefb

Imagine sitting with a client who's battled addiction for years—and something always pulls them back.

What if you could help them heal the emotional pain and trauma driving their addiction? What if you could offer lasting relief?

With EMDR you can—but they didn't teach you this in basic training.

I created this step-by-step workshop to give you specialized protocols like DeTUR, Feeling-State, and Crave-X that treat cravings, urges, and compulsions at their traumatic roots.

No jargon. Just clear, actionable instruction that prepares you to create lasting change 🎓
