Acne advice you probably don’t want to hear… but need to 👇

• Clear skin doesn’t come from hopping between providers or clinics. Results come from sticking to a long term, carefully thought out, plan.

• Just because your skin is doing better doesn’t mean breakouts are gone forever. Flare-ups happen even with “good” skin.

• If you’re constantly trying new, trending products… you’re probably slowing your progress. Your skin needs consistency, not chaos.

• Wearing heavy, pore-clogging makeup every day? It could be working against everything you’re trying to fix. Start looking into your makeup ingredients, it could be one of the biggest culprits behind breakouts.

• Sunscreen isn’t optional, especially if you’re dealing with acne + pigmentation. No SPF = no real improvement. Pro tip- choose a SPF with a tint if you have pigmentation, the extra coverage actually benefits you.

• Picking your skin isn’t helping. It’s prolonging healing, increasing inflammation, and leading to more scarring. We know it’s easier said than done, but we promise you it will be worth it to just say no!

• Thinking you know better than your provider (or not following the plan fully) will keep you stuck. This works best as a partnership.
