It's technically still winter. But it's 65 degrees in February and everything feels wrong.
In Chinese Medicine, winter is Water season — the time when we're meant to go inward, rest deeply, conserve. The Kidneys store our reserves. The body asks to slow down.
But when the weather skips ahead to spring, the Liver wakes up early. Wood energy rises before it's ready. And what shows up isn't excitement — it's restless agitation.
You might notice:
Disrupted sleep. Irritability. A wired feeling that has nowhere to go. The sense that you should be doing something but you don't know what.
This isn't you being ungrounded. This is your body responding to a seasonal disruption.
The invitation right now isn't to force yourself into spring productivity. It's to anchor back into winter's wisdom even when the temperature says otherwise.
Rest when you can. Move gently. Don't rush the transition.
