🧊🦷 Dental Tip Tuesday: Think Twice Before Chewing Ice
Chewing ice might seem harmless — but it’s one of the fastest ways to damage otherwise healthy teeth.
Ice is hard enough to cause:
• Cracks or chips in enamel
• Broken fillings or crowns
• Increased tooth sensitivity
• Irritated or receding gums
• Jaw strain (especially if you already clench or grind)
Even tiny fractures can turn into bigger dental problems over time — and often don’t hurt until real damage is done.
If you love crunching ice, try switching to cold water or sugar-free gum instead. Your teeth will thank you. 😁
And if you’ve noticed sensitivity, tooth pain, or a chipped tooth…
