Classic Five-Element Acupuncture for achieving wellness through the natural path to healing. In this way acupuncture can help with a multitude of maladies.

Acupuncture works with the meridians of energy found in the body using that energy called Qi. The manifestation of illness stems from lack of balance in the body. Each session is an assessment of where the imbalance is occurring and the use of needles, moxa and cupping to help the body, mind, and spirit correct the imbalance. The beauty of this medicine is its simplicity.

Case Study: 75 year old male ⤵️

Presentation: Vietnam Vet, came to see me for knee, lower back and shoulder pain. Has had severe trauma to the body over the years from Vietnam to motorcycle and car accidents. Can hardly get out of bed.

Treatment: Ongoing. He has been a client since 2014. Treatment now includes treatment for neck and diabetes. Cupping and acupuncture to loosen the muscles. Releasing the tension in the nervous system that keeps the tension recurring.

Result: “Acupuncture is what helps me to be able to get out of bed and have my pieces work.” Before he had to sleep in a recliner because he couldn’t get out of bed.

What a year 2025 has been! With the introduction of Neural Manipulation, a new space and new name it has been full of changes for the better. ✨️

I am so grateful for you! The people that have trusted me to help make their lives better this year. With all the chaos of the holiday season it is even more important to remember to take care of yourself. Only you can know how your body is feeling, if you’re struggling to keep your spirits up, or if you just need a tune up.

My acupuncturist is retiring in January after 39 years of practice. It has made me reflect on what the relationship between me and my clients means. I have had amazing support from her through the years (since 2007!); getting through acupuncture school, two babies, the chaos of two kids, and general life…her support has been immense. She has been my mentor for many years and taught me well.

When you walk in my door I am not just your acupuncturist. I am your cheerleader. I am your listener. I am your history keeper. I am meeting you where you are at that moment.

In the coming year I will continue learning more techniques from the Barral Institute as well as more training with Classic Five Element Acupuncture. So stay tuned.

Case Study: 36 year old female ⤵️

Presentation: Jones fracture in her foot. No surgery required, but a difficult bone to heal due to lack of circulation.

Treatment: 4 treatments every 2 weeks. Addressed swelling and increasing circulation to the area with lymphatic cupping and stationary cupping. Acupuncture to support the body heal.

Result: Swelling decreased rapidly with cupping. Her doctor was impressed with the speed of healing. She was able to drive one month after the break.

Case Study: 55 year old female ⤵️

Presentation: Diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, second opinion said not Hashimoto’s. Patient presenting with feeling tired, fatigued and achy all the time.

Treatment: 3 treatments. First treatment cleared a block between meridians and overall balance. Second treatment focused on anxiety and increasing resources. Third treatment focused on releasing physical aches.

Result: Sleeping better. Anxiety level has dropped significantly. Able to walk and do exercises that felt too overwhelming before.
