5 Pathways Acupuncture

5 Pathways Acupuncture Classic Five-Element Acupuncture for achieving wellness through the natural path to healing. In this way acupuncture can help with a multitude of maladies.

Acupuncture works with the meridians of energy found in the body using that energy called Qi. The manifestation of illness stems from lack of balance in the body. Each session is an assessment of where the imbalance is occurring and the use of needles, moxa and cupping to help the body, mind, and spirit correct the imbalance. The beauty of this medicine is its simplicity.

When the days are long, it’s often due to treating the ‘spirit’ of my body, mind and spirit treatment approach.

Treating the spirit is about being integrated with yourself. It can manifest as anxiety, depression, chronic health issues that are extremely demanding, and even being pregnant and not feeling in control of your own body.

All of these things can affect our spirit, and when our spirit is affected our spark tends to get smothered and we are just not ourselves. And that can lead to a feeling of being overwhelmed. It’s like you're going under and fighting for air.

When your body is getting all the care but your spirit is struggling, it’s more than just a little uncomfortable. You tend to begin to feel a bit crazy, and that’s difficult to put into words.

And that, my friend, is why treating body, mind, and spirit is so important in my practice. ✨️

You are not alone, but you do need to reach out and get on my schedule if you are struggling. 🫶🏻

That stubborn upper back tension from hours at a desk? This is how it finally lets go.

Gliding Cupping technique moves along the muscle fibers to:
✨ Boost circulation to tight, stuck tissue
✨ Break up fascial adhesions
✨ Decompress layers that stretching alone can't reach

It's like giving your upper back the reset button it's been waiting for.

That redness? It's circulation doing its job. 🔴

When a muscle's been stuck for a while, bringing fresh blood flow to the area triggers your body's natural healing response.

Cupping uses gentle suction to release tight muscles, ease tension, and promote circulation, supporting your body from the inside out.

We restore balance one cup at a time. ✨

This treatment is called Aggressive Energy Drain (or AE Drain).

Here's what to expect:
👉🏼You stay seated upright
👉🏼Key points are marked on your back
👉🏼The areas are cleaned
👉🏼Single-use needles are gently placed

This technique helps your body to release polluted energy and tension, improve circulation, and restore balance along the meridians - your body's natural energy pathways.

This is a technique to assess your body and start you on the path to balance and wellness.

You've seen cupping. But have you seen THIS? 👀

Larger cupping cups cover more surface area, perfect for bigger muscle groups like the back and shoulders.

The machine creates a therapeutic vacuum on the skin, just like handheld cupping. But here's the difference: we can also initiate a pulsing action, creating rhythmic suction that goes deeper.

Cupping Therapy eases muscle tension, reduces pain, and promotes circulation. Using strategically placed suction cups, we increase blood flow to targeted areas, supporting your body's natural healing process.✨

A Traditional Chinese Medicine Technique 🔥

This is Moxibustion, the medicinal burning of dried Japanese Mugwort leaves.

Small cones (called Moxa) are shaped, lit, and placed over acupuncture points to warm the body and relieve a variety of conditions.

Why the hand? The body's meridians (energy pathways) run through specific points…including several right here.

Moxa stimulates Qi flow (vital energy) and promotes healing.

Have you ever experienced this? 🌿

Cupping therapy uses gentle suction to lift the tissue and increase circulation to areas where stress and tension are stored. 🔄

By improving blood flow and encouraging lymphatic movement, it helps reduce pain, release tight muscles, and ease deep-rooted tension.

This natural therapy supports your body’s healing response, restores balance, and soothes sore, overworked muscles. ✨So your stress doesn’t stand a chance. 😉

Salt + Moxa

The Spirit Deficiency point uses salt in the belly button to create a flat surface for a larger moxa cone. The heat penetrates through your umbilicus, the place where we first formed, received nourishment, and felt love.

When life has you feeling depleted and beat up by the world, warming this point warms your entire core. It's like receiving a hug from the most nurturing spirit you could imagine. All that warmth, right in your center. 🥰

Moxa is a form of heat therapy using Japanese mugwort to increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and address chronic conditions. But this one? This one also feeds your spirit. ☺️
