Farm Hack #753
Leave a keychain bracelet on the water faucet. When turning on the water, put the bracelet on your wrist. When turning off the water, return the bracelet back to the faucet. If you walk back into the house after feeding and the bracelet is still on your wrist, you know you forgot to turn off the water. It really works!

Another wonderful end to a competition season. I can't say enough about our wonderful barn family--unbelievable camaraderie, support, love and appreciation--it's a true blessing for me to be a part of it all!

Thank you very much to Heather Petersen and her Two White Feet crew for putting on another amazingly well run show. Also a great big THANK YOU to all who volunteered to help make the show run smoothly for the rest of us!

I am so pleased for my 3 students that participated in Championships this year...each of them had numerous obstacles and challenges to overcome, and they rose up and met each one!

💛🐴💛

And to my former student, Taryn Anderson, who now works with my daughter, Greta Vowell, all I can say is, "You've come a long way, baby!"
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, you are a shining example of what happens when ones hard work, dedication, perseverance, gratitude, respect and appreciation are all in balance. Your love for the horses is the very foundation of your success...knowing that you will never compromise on what's best for them in order to get ahead. I am so very pleased for your continued success, and I look forward to being able to cheer you on in Lexington at the US Dressage Finals!

And to our new student, Gabrielle Hibbert, I am so pleased for your success with Nijinski at Championships...
RMDS Champion Second Level Jr./Young Rider and
USDF Region 5 Res. Champion Second Level Jr./Young Rider. So looking forward to seeing what the future holds for you 😊

Last but not least, to my daughter Greta, who I am ever so grateful to be partners with in this, sometimes, strange business...

Greta, you are to be commended on your dedication to staying true to all that is good and right in this sport. I am not only proud to be your mom, but feel so blessed to share all of this with you. Congratulations to you and Guinevere CPF on winning the the 2017 USDF Region 5 First Level Open Championship!

Thank you to everyone, near and far, for your continuing appreciation and support of what I am doing with these kids...it really is a blast!!
