You don’t need to leave the house or be a gym rat to keep moving and stay strong! Here’s a simple seated workout perfect for rainy days, even if you're worried about mobility or pain:

✅ March your feet in place while seated (30 seconds)
✅ Roll your shoulders forward and back (10 times)
✅ Reach your arms overhead or out to the sides (10 times)
✅ Gently twist side to side for a light stretch (10 times)
✅ Finish with ankle circles (10 each foot)

A few minutes of gentle movement can boost circulation, improve flexibility, and lift your mood — no matter the weather! ☔❤️

🍁 Dr. Christie’s Favorite Fall Chili 🍲
When the weather cools down, nothing hits the spot like a warm, healthy bowl of turkey chili!

Start by sautéing an onion and red pepper with garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Add 1 lb of lean ground turkey until browned, then transfer everything to your crockpot. Mix in a can each of pinto, black, and kidney beans, a large can of diced tomatoes, and about half a jar of your favorite salsa.

Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6–8 hours, then stir in a little frozen corn for color. Top with plain Greek yogurt, a sprinkle of cheese, and diced avocado — cozy, hearty, and healthy! 🥑❤️

👉 If you have heart disease or are watching your sodium intake, be sure to choose low-sodium canned beans and tomatoes!
