If you’ve ever wondered whether alcohol may be impacting your health, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it on your own. Our providers are here to listen and help you find a plan that works for you.

If you have concerns or just want to talk, we encourage you to schedule a visit and start the conversation.

Do you know your ApoB? đź‘€

ApoB (apolipoprotein B) is one of the most important markers of cardiovascular risk—it tells us how many “bad” cholesterol particles are actually circulating in your blood, not just how much cholesterol they carry.

Even if your cholesterol looks “normal,” your ApoB could still be elevated.

Knowing your number = knowing your risk ❤️

Ask us about getting your ApoB checked at your next visit—it’s a simple test that can give powerful insight into your heart health!

Why Is Weight Loss So Hard? It Might Be Your Metabolism.

When you lose weight, your body naturally tries to protect you by slowing things down—this is called metabolic adaptation.

As you lose weight:
✔️ Your metabolism can slow down
✔️ You may burn fewer calories at rest and with exercise
✔️ Hunger hormones increase, making you feel hungrier

It’s your body’s way of trying to “hold on” to energy—even when your goal is to lose weight.

That’s why weight loss isn’t just about willpower. If you’re struggling, you’re not alone—and there are ways we can help support your metabolism and create a plan that works for you. 💙 Call us today to schedule an appointment!

Do You Know If You Have High Levels of Inflammation?

Chronic inflammation in the body often has no obvious symptoms—but it can quietly increase your risk for heart disease and other health concerns.

A simple blood test called hs-CRP (high-sensitivity C-reactive protein) can help identify hidden inflammation and give you valuable insight into your overall health.

If you’re curious about your risk or want a better picture of your health, we’re here to help. Schedule a visit with us to get your hs-CRP checked and take a proactive step toward feeling your best! 💙

Do You Know Your Lp(a)?

Lp(a), or lipoprotein(a), is a type of cholesterol particle that can increase your risk for heart disease and stroke. Unlike many other cholesterol levels, Lp(a) is mostly determined by genetics and often isn’t included in routine cholesterol testing.

The good news? A simple blood test can measure your Lp(a) level and help your provider better understand your cardiovascular risk.

Talk with your provider about whether checking your Lp(a) is right for you—we’re here to help you stay proactive about your heart health! ❤️
