Let the Good Times Roll! 💜💛💚

Yesterday at Avir at Longview, we celebrated Fat Tuesday in true Mardi Gras style! Residents received beads and rubber ducks, enjoyed Mardi Gras trivia, and indulged in delicious King Cake and purple punch.

A special thank you to Heritage Home Health and Hospice for the King Cake, and to our friend Tanay for helping make the celebration extra sweet!

Congratulations to King Douglas and our Valentine Queen, Daekecia. Our celebration was filled with music, laughter, and sweet memories. A special thank you to David and Billy from Texas Special Children’s Project for the wonderful entertainment and thoughtful gift bags for each resident.

We are also grateful to our nurse practitioner, Crystal, for the delicious strawberry and chocolate cakes. The strawberry was the crowd's favorite. Even our King joined in and sang along for a few songs. 🎶

Thank you to Family Dollar on Highway 80 and Ms. Marsha Nolen for donating the beautiful balloons. Every resident went home with one after the party. It was truly a day to remember.
