Meet Dr. David Vaca at SLEEPwell Longview! 🌟

Dr. David Vaca is proud to serve the Longview community as the only dental provider in the area specializing in sleep apnea treatment. He is passionate about helping patients who suffer from snoring and sleep apnea find better sleep, which in turn improves their overall health and quality of life.

A native Texan, Dr. Vaca grew up in Ennis, near Dallas, before settling in
Longview. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University
and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry, he brings
years of expertise to East Texas.

When he’s not helping patients improve their sleep and overall health, Dr.
Vaca enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, cheering on his
favorite sports teams, cooking, golfing, and participating in Bible study. He
and his wife, Bethany, love calling Longview home alongside their daughter,
Elizabeth Virginia.

Here’s a few quick tips that can make a big difference:

✨ 1. Keep a “core sleep window.”
Even with guests or travel, try to anchor your bedtime and wake time within the same 1–1.5 hour window. Consistency keeps your internal clock steady.

✨ 2. Create a wind-down ritual—even if it’s short.
A 5–10 minute routine (shower, stretching, reading, or deep breathing) signals your brain it’s time to power down, no matter how busy the day was.

✨ 3. Watch the holiday pours.
Be mindful of when and how much you enjoy alcohol. Alcohol can cause fragmented sleep throughout the night. Cut it off 3 hours before bed and drink water between servings.

Your sleep is worth prioritizing this season. 🌙✨
