When Brandon Turner decided to build a long‑term career in paramedicine, he broke from a national trend of high turnover and burnout. He stayed because of the support and mentorship he received through our in-house paramedic program, which allowed him to advance while continuing to work his shifts. They didn't just pressure him to move faster, but made opportunities more visible. Practicing under assessment-based guidelines gave Brandon the autonomy to treat patients, not just the symptoms, renewing his purpose in the work. Today, he pays that support forward, mentoring the next generation with the same steady guidance he received.
