Honoring Our LRMC Veterans 🇺🇸

This week, Longview Regional Medical Center proudly celebrated the brave men and women on our team who have served our country.

We unveiled our Veterans Wall of Honor—a meaningful and heartfelt tribute recognizing the service, sacrifice, and dedication our veterans bring to our hospital and our community.

The hospital continued its celebration with a special appreciation event, where LRMC veterans enjoyed a complimentary Nothing Bundt Cake, a commemorative photo, a Veterans Badge Buddy, and personal thanks from our Executive Leadership Team.

To our LRMC veterans—and to all who have worn our nation’s uniform—thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and the courage you bring to our country and communities every day. ❤️🤍💙

David Jayakar, M.D., M.S., has been director of cardiovascular services at Longview Regional Hospital since 2010. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Jayakar has a special interest in minimally invasive cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery. He also performs transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and introduced bloodless cardiac surgery, off-pump beating heart bypass surgery and the “Fistula First” program to Longview Regional Hospital.
