Dyspareunia (pain with in*******se) is common—but NOT NORMAL!
Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy plays a key role in evidence-based management and may include neuromuscular re-education, relaxation strategies, pain neuroscience education, and guided use of pelvic tools (such as dilators or wands) when clinically appropriate.
When prescribed and supervised by a trained Pelvic PT, these tools support improved muscle coordination, tissue tolerance, and reduced pain without forcing or exacerbating symptoms.
