This wonderful spot is owned and operated by one of our dear resident’s family members, making the visit extra meaningful. From the warm welcome to the outstanding service, we felt right at home and are so thankful for their hospitality.

The Eastman loaded up this morning for a bus adventure to Rise and Shine Hills in Hallsville, Texas for their Third Saturday Market at the Farm!!

We had a blast! Residents got to learn about the farm, shop local vendor booths, and meet several wonderful people from the community!

What a way to spend our Saturday morning!

A few members of The Eastman team — Angela, Jennifer, and Macie — had the opportunity to stop by and share more about what makes The Eastman special, along with our admission and assessment process. Our Lunch Bunch crew headed to City of Hallsville for a delicious stop at the beloved Miss Minnie’s Place! 🍽️
We love supporting small, locally owned restaurants where everyone is treated like family — and Miss Minnie’s delivered on every level. From the incredible food to the friendly service and the laughter shared between staff and regulars, the atmosphere was just as memorable as the meal.

A wonderful lunch outing all around… and we’ll definitely be back for seconds! ❤️
