As we look ahead to the upcoming school year, we want to remind you to schedule your child’s back-to-school physical as early as possible. Appointments tend to fill up quickly in July and August, and we want to make sure every child who needs a visit is able to be seen in time.

With summer vacations, family gatherings, and busy schedules, it’s easy to forget to book that important appointment. There’s no time like the present to get ahead and avoid the last-minute rush—or any delays before the school year begins.

Please keep in mind that children entering kindergarten and 7th grade may be required by their school to have updated vaccinations and physicals. Scheduling early ensures plenty of time to complete any necessary requirements without stress.
We are here to help make this process as smooth as possible for you and your family. Give us a call at your convenience—we’d love to get your child on the schedule!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Christmas begins with Christ!

This simple truth resonates within my heart. Kindness and love shared with others bring great joys. Recently I have struggled with worries that have left me sleepless. God benevolently sent me friends and patient parents whose kindness, testimony, and acts of love left me completely humbled. The truth of hope through their words and actions reminding me that when our focus is on Jesus there is no room for anything but Peace. Today as we celebrate the gift of Jesus, I pray each of you will find LOVE, JOY, PEACE , and HOPE . Merry Christmas dear friends!!

Dear Patients and Families,

We would like to inform you of our upcoming holiday hours at 1st Choice Pediatrics so that our providers and staff may spend time with their families during the holiday season.

Our office will be closing at noon on Christmas Eve, and we will be closed on Christmas Day and Friday, December 26.

We will also be closing at noon on New Year’s Eve, and will be closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Our office will reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026.

We appreciate your understanding and continued trust in our practice. We wish you and your loved ones a safe, healthy, and Merry Christmas, and a joyful New Year.

Dear friends,

It has been a very long time since I shared my journey. Life has been extremely complicated for everyone. It is easy to be silent and overwhelmed, when, so much division, hatred, dishonesty, and tragedy surround our world. I have struggled to completely know the Peace I have sought through prayer.

Over these past few years, there are three women who have inspired me on my journey for Peace. They have taught me to TRUST the process. To wait patiently while God works. His control is absolute and his timing is not for my understanding nor for my happiness.

However, he is and always will be LOVING, FAITHFUL, and TRUSTWORTHY.

I have witnessed how these women’s actions of faith, kindness, and building of relationships have changed others’ lives. A gentle greeting to someone in distress, a kind word at a gas station, a discussion about God in a restaurant or a grocery store, a prayer for someone at a doctor’s office or hospital, a conversation on an airplane, etc. These simple actions of God’s Love changed the lives these women touched through his Grace and Truth. They gave hope to the hopeless, comforted the distressed, showed God’s Peace to those in the middle of the storm.

As we go into Thanksgiving, I hope each of you will find Peace, Love, and Gratitude despite the storms that may surround you. Know God is working in your live, placing others to lift you up, to pray for you and to show you his LOVE. I am truly GRATEFUL!! Happy Thanksgiving my friends!
