We accept Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurance plans. We also offer self-pay fee discounts based on income & household size. With locations in Longview, Tyler, Texarkana and Paris, Special Health Resources provides patients throughout East Texas with the highest quality comprehensive care. We treat the whole family, with a wide range of services available. Our services include:

Meet Jessica Roldan, Chief Executive Officer at Special Health Resources!

Jessica joined SHR in 2018 and is a Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas native with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and leadership roles. She earned a Bachelor degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, a Master degree from Texas A&M University-Texarkana and graduated from UCLA Anderson School of Management/ Johnson & Johnson’s Health Care Executive Program.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys reading, spending time with her family, supporting animal rescue organizations and continuing her education.

Meet Ken Kosowicz, Chief Financial Officer at Special Health Resources!

Ken, CPA, MBA, joined the organization in 2019 and has more than 25 years of senior leadership experience within various healthcare organizations. As CFO, Ken oversees all financial operations including corporate accounting, treasury management, revenue cycle, financial strategic planning and analysis.

Ken began his career with Ernst & Young. Before joining Special Health Resources, he served in various leadership roles with a diversity of healthcare settings including community hospital, long-term acute care hospital, home health, residential rehabilitation, behavioral health, allied health and school programs. He is a member of the State CPA Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ken earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Conservation from the University of New Hampshire, and holds a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from Southern New Hampshire University.

In his free time, Ken enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
