🦷 Case of the Month: Tooth #18 C-Shaped Canal 🦷

Every tooth has its own story! This patient came to us for evaluation and a root canal on tooth #18 before returning to their referring dentist for the final restoration. During treatment, we located and treated three canals in a C-shaped configuration—plus a unique little canal branching off at a different angle than the others.

After completing the root canal, the patient returned to their dentist to have the cavity repaired and the crown placed, restoring the tooth’s strength and function.

Cases like this are a great reminder that no two root canals are exactly the same—and that careful attention to every detail makes all the difference!
