Lets celebrate Eric Rosgen for 20 years of service. Eric began working at Somerset as a caregiver. A Somerset lady resident met him at the nursing home and decided right then she needed to send him to Somerset. She got on the bus and rode over to Somerset and told the administrator she had met this wonderful caregiver and that Somerset needed to hire him immediately. Well, at the time there were no openings and the administrator did not make the call. Next week the resident again rode the bus over and demanded to speak to the owner, Chuck Bond. Mr. Bond wasted no time and told the administrator to find him a spot! And this is how we met Eric all those years ago. Eric worked several years as a caregiver and helped out in maintenance too. He met his lovely wife at Somerset (she was also a caregiver)and the couple married in Somerset's backyard with all the residents and staff in attendance. About 15 years ago, Eric undertook the administrator position at New Westside Terrace and in the past 5 years the alternate administrator job at Somerset. Eric loves taking the residents fishing and his New Westside bean bag baseball team regularly gives the Somerset team a run for their money. Eric enjoys coaching football and baseball for his 2 sons and their teams in Kalama. Eric also likes fishing and can be found along the banks of the Kalama River with his family.
Thank you Eric for all you do for our residents and families.
