Mind • Body • Story • Soul

Co-Founder of Kairos Therapy Group & Therapist helping leaders, couples, adolescents, teams, and individuals bring alignment within their self, relationships, and story.

What does it mean to come into true form?
To become your God-given self?

It is not about perfection.
It is about integration.

Mind renewed.
Body listened to.
Story explored.
Soul anchored.

What the body has stored must be gently released.
What the mind has believed must be examined.
What the story has carried must be named.

These are not abstract realities.
They are your architecture.

This is embodied formation.
And it always happens in relationship.

To come into form is to live aligned
not from survival,
but from wholeness.

Therapy can be a proactive investment in growth, clarity, and alignment.

A space to understand your story before it starts shaping you unconsciously.
Learning your patterns before they govern you.
Choosing awareness before reactivity.

You do not have to wait for something to fall apart to begin becoming whole.

Growth is not crisis-driven.
It is courage-driven.

Take a step today.

Healing isn’t about having the right answer, it's about being the answer.
It’s about embodied presence:
Stable.
Loving.
Non-anxious.
And let’s be clear presence is not permission.
It’s not condoning unhealthy behavior. It’s not minimizing harm.
It’s not ignoring sin.
Presence holds both truth and compassion.
It says:
“I won’t shame you.”
“And I won’t enable you.”

Presence is slower but it is stronger.

A friendly reminder:
if you find yourself hustling for your worth, wearing yourself thin to please others, and feeling stuck in disappointment, you’re allowed to slow down and return to what’s true.

Resilience is learning to face what’s real,
staying present in the moment rather than turning away.

When we welcome ourselves with honesty and care,
self-knowledge grows.

When we deny what’s within us,
we often end up denying others too
creating more stress, disconnection, and fragmentation.

Presence invites integration.
This is where resilience begins.

Today feels very full in the best way. There is a quiet joy in sharing something that has been forming for a long time.

This season has been shaped through prayer, patience, and trusting the timing of God. What has come together is Kairos Therapy Group, and I’m deeply grateful to be building this alongside Lindsey Montgomery. Her partnership and shared heart for this work have been a gift. I am thankful for the mentors, clients, family, and community who have walked with us along the way. At its heart, Kairos is about creating space for healing, alignment, and hope within ourselves, our relationships, and our story.

If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to share this and journey alongside us as this story continues to unfold.

Founders of Kairos Therapy Group, RJ Ferguson and Lindsey Montgomery.

We are excited and deeply grateful to bring thoughtful, grounded care to the East Texas region. Our website is live, and our team is already growing.

We look forward to serving you and to what’s ahead, with our new space coming early Spring 2026!

Parts. Patterns. Motivation Systems.

They’re not complicated theories-
they’re simply the inner coordinates that shape your human experience. Every day, different parts of you speak up.
Old patterns tug at your attention.
Your motivation system does whatever it can to keep you safe.
And here’s the freeing part: all of this can change.
When you begin naming and attending to these core areas,
your work becomes lighter,
your story starts to make sense,
and your reactions no longer feel random.
Alignment becomes possible - mind, body, and soul.
Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong” with you.
It’s about helping the real you come into focus so you can move through your day with more clarity, ease,
and confidence with your whole self.
Do not delay coming back to yourself.
Live empowered.
Alignment is available. Let's write what's next!

We don’t start relationships as blank slates.
We carry stories - learned and inherited - about what love is, how safety feels, and what happens when we need too much.

Some of us learned to pursue.
Others learned to disappear.

We inherited the tone of conflict, the pace of repair, the comfort or distance of those who raised us.

And yet…what we inherit doesn’t have to define what we build.

Every couple holds the sacred task of creating a new relational blueprint - one shaped not by fear or survival, but by safety, honesty, repair, and grace.

Together, you can learn a new rhythm of connection - one that honors where you came from and reimagines where you’re going.

Eugene Peterson modeled a kind of leadership that was neither flashy nor self-promoting, but deeply attentive, the kind that listens for grace in ordinary lives. He taught us that the role of a leader, pastor, or therapist is not to fix or to force, but to witness to help others recognize the sacred patterns already at work in their story. May our work be marked by that quiet strength, a leadership rooted not in control, but in presence.

How you engage yourself is what you embody.

There comes a point in healing when you stop treating certain parts of yourself like intruders - the anxious one, the angry one, the grieving one. For a long time, those parts may have felt inconvenient or unsafe to acknowledge. But eventually, you realize they don’t need to be silenced or fixed. They need to be seen, understood, and welcomed.

When those wounded or scared parts of you show up, how do you engage them? Do you try to control or dismiss them, or can you meet them with curiosity and care?

The work of and have deeply shaped how I think about this - the sacred practice of engaging what’s within, not with fear or avoidance, but with love, openness, and compassion.

Because the way you engage yourself is the way you show up in the world.
The way you listen within becomes the way you embody presence with others.
