🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Taking care of your health starts with knowing your body. Early action makes a difference, and it all begins with awareness. 💗

Here’s how to do a simple self-exam at home:

1️⃣ Look
Stand in front of a mirror with your shoulders straight and hands on your hips. Look for any changes in size, shape, or color such as dimpling, swelling, or redness.

2️⃣ Lift
Raise your arms and look for the same changes from different angles.

3️⃣ Feel Your Breasts
Use the pads of your three middle fingers to check for lumps or thickened tissue. Move in small circles from the outer breast toward the ni**le, including underarms.

4️⃣ Lie Down
Repeat the same motion while lying down. This helps spread the tissue evenly and makes it easier to notice differences.

5️⃣ Do It Monthly
Doing it once a month helps you understand what’s normal for you.

🗓️ Make it part of your routine:
Set a reminder on your phone or calendar, just like you would for a haircut or dentist visit. Two minutes a month can make a difference.
