After decades of compassionate care, Gail Ezell, NP has officially retired from clinical practice. Although her time with CIPC spanned three meaningful years, her heart for children and families made a lasting impact, and we are deeply grateful she chose to finish her career as part of our team 🤍

We’re honored to continue this legacy with Sissy, DNP, APRN, CPNP. Gail and Sissy first worked together over a decade ago at Nemours, completing their onboarding together while serving in different departments. Their shared values and commitment to thoughtful, whole-child care made this transition especially meaningful.

Sissy’s journey into holistic pediatrics is deeply personal — once a patient of Dr. Cannizzaro, later completing her NP training under his mentorship. Beyond the clinic, Sissy is a mom of four who values family, faith, and connection, which deeply shapes the way she partners with parents and cares for children. Her approach blends traditional pediatrics with root-focused, whole-body care that honors the nervous system, emotional wellness, and the family as a whole. She is passionate about carrying forward Dr. Cannizzaro’s legacy of compassionate, integrative, relationship-centered care.

Our office will be closed Wednesday, December 24 through Sunday, January 4 as our team takes time to rest and recharge with loved ones.

We will reopen Monday, January 5 with normal business hours.

During this time, we will not have regular office hours. Families can rest assured that urgent medical needs will still be supported by one of our on-call staff members.
