The Lorain County Crisis Recovery Center is proud to celebrate 1,000 clients served since October 2025—a milestone that belongs to our incredible staff in the building. Every day, they show compassion, dedication, and tireless commitment to supporting individuals in their moments of need.

From offering guidance and comfort to creating a safe, welcoming environment, our staff make each interaction a moment of hope. Their heart, skill, and hard work are what truly make healing possible.

Family Support Group meets Tuesdays at 6 pm!
Loving someone who struggles with substance abuse is one of the hardest journeys a family can walk. It brings fear, anger, confusion, heartbreak — and sometimes even guilt. But one thing we have to remember is this: we didn’t cause it, we can’t control it, and we can’t cure it.
Recovery is possible — for our loved ones and for us. But our healing matters too. We deserve support, clarity, and strength just as much as they deserve recovery.

If you’re reading this and struggling today, take a deep breath. You are doing the best you can with what you know. Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep loving — but don’t forget to care for yourself in the process.

Join us at Oberlin Community Services on Wednesdays & Fridays for:
• Mental health & substance use screenings
• Peer recovery support
• Treatment navigation
• Access to community resources

We also offer community wellness supplies including Narcan kits, fentanyl & xylazine test strips, medication disposal pouches, safe use kits, pregnancy tests, and condoms.

No appointment needed. Just walk in.
