We need your help to ensure that Dr. Katarina Cernozubov-Digman's life's work continues to thrive. With her boundless dedication and expertise, Dr. Digman (9-5-1941 to 9-1-2023) not only saved and healed horses but also founded the first officially accredited therapeutic riding program in Hawaii and one of the first in the nation. Her passion for helping children led her to establish a similar program in Oregon, known as The Unicorn Program. Because of her tireless efforts, and through the power of equine therapy, The Unicorn Program has given children the chance to overcome obstacles, build confidence, and embrace a brighter future. The Unicorn Program has changed so many lives, offering a safe space for healing, growth, and transformation.
Our Goal:
To ensure the continued success of The Unicorn Program, we are seeking your support. We aim to raise forty-thousand dollars, which will fully fund the program for an entire year. This will allow the ranch to establish stable funding sources, ensuring that it can continue to make a profound impact on the lives of children for years to come.

Lucky is a delightful half Arabian mate, who has an all black fluffy coat and a white diamond on her forehead. Lucky is an older horse who is incredibly patient and calm. She loves getting scratched on her forehead, being talked to, and getting hugs. A few months ago, Lucky was showing signs of weight loss, increased coat length, and lethargy. We called in a vet to check on her, and they ended up diagnosing her with Cushing’s. Cushing’s is a endocrine disorder that is a fairly common disease in horses. Lucky’s daily life has changed drastically since she was diagnosed, and right now she really needs all the help she can get. This is Joya (a.k.a Joy). Joy is a seven year old bay Andalusian-Mustang. He is very curious and loves any attention he can get! He adores children and is known for his smooth gait and his patience with young riders. Joy is incredibly smart and mischievous. He often frees himself and his friends from their stalls to go in search for the nearest source of food. He is playful and kind, as well as a loving friend to every animal at the ranch! This is Jubilo! He is included in our Sponsor A Horse program. Jubilo is a seven year old Andalusian gelding, who stands at 17.3 hands tall. Jubilo is friendly and playful, and adores attention, treats, and kisses on the nose. He has a handsome light gray coat, and his flank is dappled with dark gray spotting. Jubilo is the son of Lady Bee, brother to Joy and Julius, and a friend to all the horses. He absolutely loves to jump, and will often head right towards the cavalettis as soon as he enters the arena. Jubilo is good with children and young riders, and likes to spend his time grazing in the pastures and stirring up trouble with his friends.
