It is truly beautiful to see how God connects people when you are obedient in the work you are called to do. As Christ followers, we are called to love God and love people. We are called to use our pain and experiences to meet people in similar experienxes in their times of need. This past weekend we raised money for the Leah Wilkinson Memorial Foundarion by hosting a pastalya dinner. So many helpful hearts and hands were involved. Obstacles arose, but God provided.
Before we even left the church, we were able to bless someone in our cancer community and meet needs only God knows about.
He opens doors, yall. He answers prayers, and He provides when we are open to being used by Him. My sweet momma’s work carries on - and it’s more apparent every year that it’s not just about cancer awareness-It’s about kingdom work: loving others well, showing up wirh compassion, meeting needs, and giving with open hands.
Thanks to all who gave this weekend and year after year so that mom’s legacy can live on. Thanks be to God for the ministry born our pain. The fruitfulness of this work becomes more and more evident with each passing year..
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

“The Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
