If you have been thinking about waiting for the school district to evaluate your child for ADHD, you need to know the math:

In Pennsylvania the 60-day legal clock for a school eval PAUSES on the last day of school.

Testing started in April or May will hit the Summer Freeze and will likely not be finalized until OCTOBER.

The only way to guarantee your child has an IEP or 504 Plan in place for the FIRST day of school in September is to have a private evaluation in hand by the end of May.
