We will be open all day, but end early at 4pm.

Los Alamos Public Schools will be on a 2 hour delay on Thursday, December 4 due to winter weather conditions. We already have ice accumulating on walkways and in parking lots. There is more moisture expected through the night and temperatures will remain below freezing. This delay will give our crews time to make sure parking lots and sidewalks are clear and safe for staff and students.

Buses will arrive at their usual stops 2 hours late. School will begin 2 hours late. Please be safe in your travels and watch for possible ice on roadways and sidewalks.

Two-hour Delayed Start:
Buses will arrive at bus stops two hours later than the usual pickup time.

School start times during a 2 hour delay:
Elementary schools - 10:10 am (including PreK 4Y)
Mid School - 10:40 am
High School - 10:30 am
​NO Morning 3Y Pre-School ​a​t any school, afternoon 3Y will be on a regular schedule.

Our Story

Dear Friends: I can't believe that it's been 23 years since I moved to Los Alamos! I had just graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and was impressed by the friendliness and warmth of the people. I loved the spectacular beauty, world class education, and scientific community of Los Alamos. I knew that this would be a great place to build my practice. I started with one employee, generating just enough revenue to make rent!

Today, my thriving practice is a result of the relationships I have built and the trust I have earned. It's been such a privilege to serve this amazing community of Los Alamos and surrounding communities of Northern New Mexico. These are just some of the services that my practice provides:
